In cooperation with our trade partner – Controlling Systems Co. we organised a seminar in Toruñ dedicated to the EURECA system. The topic of the seminar was: "How to improve the budgeting and analyses in a firm with a professional information technology tool. A summary of 60 implementations of the EURECA system in Poland." Our partner – Controlling Systems Co. is a producer of information technology system – EURECA. It is the most willingly implemented professional controlling tool (according to the report of CFO no. 4/2007). There are over 1500 managers who create and control their budgets with the use of the EURECA system.
There has just started a 60th implementation of the EURECA system. The already implemented projects have been executed in production firms, distribution and service companies as well as institutions. The implementation of the EURECA system in such firms as Basell Orlen, Polyolefins, Biomed, Canal+ Digital, Dr Irena Eris, GPEC, Johnson & Johnson Poland, Komputronik, Link 4, Start People, TVN, Torfarm, Topex, Thyssenkrupp Energostal or Wincanton enabled to collect a lot of valuable experiences. The aim of the seminar was to present the merits and effectiveness of the EURECA system and to pass on a lot of precious observations gained while implementing the EURECA system. There were a lot of representatives of firms from Poland. We plan to organise other seminars the next semester of 2008 in cooperation with Controlling Systems Co.
